Michael Tucker Bio
Michael Tucker counsels school districts and public entities in the areas of collective bargaining, employee discipline, special education and charter school oversight, among others. Michael has significant, and hard to come by, hands-on litigation experience, having served as Deputy District Attorney with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted numerous jury and court trials. His courtroom experience, combined with a law school education where he graduated in the top of his class, makes him a valuable resource for clients during mediation, arbitration, and fact finding.
He’s a noted presenter on a variety of topics including County Board Appellate Hearings, Charter Petition Approval, Educating Transgender Students, Uniform Complaint Procedures and Prevention of Sexual Harassment.
Michael is an avid fan of his beloved, but mostly beleaguered, hometown Cleveland sports teams.
