“One aspect of working for school districts I really enjoy is the collaboration. All the parties involved are focused on what’s best for the child.

I have a particular love for the field of special education, and that enjoyment, coupled with a background in public policy, helps me deliver
results.”

Cristina Quinonez Bio

Cristina Quiñonez is an associate attorney who counsels school districts, county offices of education and charter schools on a range of educational issues.

Prior to joining Edwards, Stevens & Tucker, Cristina was an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm where her civil litigation practice focused on real estate/real property, landlord/tenant, and premises liability. Cristina was also a staff attorney at East Bay Children’s Law Offices where she represented Alameda County foster youth in their Juvenile Dependency proceedings. Cristina has significant litigation experience, assisting a number of clients through trials and crafting negotiated settlements that prevented painful litigation.

In her spare time, Cristina is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and going on walks with her rescue dog, Leo. A longtime San Francisco resident, Cristina is a 49er faithful and Giants fan.
